The Sun Inn
The Sun Inn is over 300 years old and as far as we know has always been an inn, travelers used to stay over and enjoy a pint or two after a days fishing at Marton pool.
You will find the traditional bar very homely, with comfy sofas and a lovely oil burning fire. You can enjoy a well kept pint of Hobsons best bitter or if you prefer a glass of wine from our varied selection as well as several lagers or cider if you prefer. We serve the same menu throughout our bar and restaurant so you can choose where you prefer to eat.
Our Restaurant has a more contemporary feel with large dining tables giving you plenty of room to enjoy a scrumptious meal. For parties we can join tables together to seat a maximum of 10 at a table. our restaurant can seat 30 people.
The Sun Inn has been owned by The Gartell Family since 2006. You will find Peter in the kitchen cooking up an array of tasty foods in English & Mediterranean styles. Peter has accumalated a wealth of knowledge over the 50 years he has been cooking. Jean & Sally will be happy to greet you at the bar and Dominic keeps all the beer in great condition for you to enjoy.
